This is a stunning vintage folk art carving by Caron Studios in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, Quebec, Canada. Carved beautifully by Caron, one of the family of great carvers following in the traditions set down by Paul Caron. This hand carved figure of an old woman is looking wistfully with a slight smile into the distance.
