Beautiful deep blue and white 10 inch dinner sized plates were printed in Staffordshire England of ironstone. The center picture is a rendition of Independence Hall in the period of the horse drawn carriage and lovely people walking in the park, the ladies is long dresses, and the gentlemen with their top hats, all depicted on the plates. The rim and outer portion of the dish is decorated with deep blue border of glorious stylized flowers. there is one chip on the bottom of the 7th plate, all other plates are free of chips, scratches and crazing.
